information you should know...

Why the name Color Blind Celebrations? We believe that music crosses all ethnic, cultural, sexual, and religious orientations, beliefs, and backgrounds. Music simply brings people from different walks of life together, and is blind to their differences. No matter what your event or occasion, we understand it is a celebration, and believe that it should be all about the music, your enjoyment, and create memories to last.

How did it all start? It was December of 2000 when Color Blind Celebrations began. Those responsible had an idea to promote, plan, organize, and throw large events & dances for their friends and neighbors. Their basic thought was providing a huge mix of music, with a variety of people, where everyone could dance and have a good time.

During the past 11 years (2000 to 2011), Color Blind Celebrations started to focus on and work smaller functions and venues. It did not abandon the large scale events that helped get it started, but found additional business with other events as well.

In March of 2004, Color Blind Celebrations branched out even further, and now offers and provides party planning, wedding consultation, and choreography in addition to its DJ services. The company is available for birthdays, weddings, proms, fund-raiser, corporate events, house parties and much more.

This company also continues its work with churches, schools, LGBTQ and other not for profit community based organizations/agencies in Chicago. Giving very reasonable discounts and also donating its services four to five times a year for such events as; The Chicago Aids Run & Walk, The Day of Silence - Night of Noise Youth Rally, and several others to name a few.

Jeff Kaemerer a.k.a. DJ Casper is the only one of the original four founders running, directing, and managing this fast growing company. His vision, passion, dedication, and love for helping others make their dreams and wishes come true is what has brought Color Blind Celebrations to where it is today.
